- Identify and carry out the responsibilities of a workplace first aider
- Complete both primary and secondary assessments of casualties
- Perform CPR and use an AED for unresponsive casualties
- Treat a range of injuries including burns, fractures, bleeding, and head trauma
- Recognise and manage medical emergencies such as asthma, heart attack, stroke, seizures, and anaphylaxis
- Maintain effective infection prevention and reporting procedures
