Learning Outcomes

Recognise the role and responsibilities of a paediatric first aider
Assess emergency incidents and ensure the safety of themselves and others
Perform a primary survey and respond to unresponsive infants and children (with or without normal breathing)
Deliver CPR and use an AED confidently in paediatric emergencies
Provide first aid for choking, wounds, bleeding, and shock in infants and children
Respond appropriately to incidents involving seizures and minor injuries
