Day 1: On-Site Mock Inspection & Verbal Feedback
At the end of the visit, we provide verbal feedback, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement with practical, jargon-free guidance.

Our Mock Inspection is conducted using a framework based on the Regulated Activities Regulations 2014 and aligned with CQC’s “I” statements, such as:
- Reviewing your documentation, care plans, policies, audits, and training records
- Interviewing staff, observing care delivery, and assessing leadership and governance
- Mapping your practices against the five key CQC domains:
- Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-Led
We begin with a full-day, face-to-face inspection of your service. This includes:
Day 2: Remote Report & Internal CareCraft Rating
On the second day, you will receive a detailed written report with:
- Key findings across each CQC domain
- A summary of compliance risks or gaps
- A personalised CareCraft quality rating
- Clear, prioritised action points for improvement
This report serves as a robust internal audit tool and can be used to support governance reviews, staff training plans, and readiness for future inspections.
Follow-Up Support
We also offer optional guidance and consultancy to help you address any recommendations. This includes support in updating documentation, improving audit systems, and strengthening leadership and quality assurance frameworks.
